St. Lucie County Launches Online Survey

St. Lucie County Launches Online Survey

St. Lucie County is moving forward with the second phase in its efforts to gauge community feedback by launching an online survey.

To better serve residents and to learn more about the needs and desires of our community, St. Lucie County has partnered with the National Research Center (NRC) to conduct a Community Survey. Residents of St. Lucie County, who were not randomly selected to participate in the mail-in Community survey, can share their opinions through the online survey -

This Community Survey is an integral part of the county’s strategic planning process, and is an important tool that the Board of County Commissioners will use when developing St. Lucie County’s strategic plan.

Similar to the random survey 1,700 households received last month, the survey centers on community livability and includes questions about the quality of life in the community, local policies, demographics, rating of local government services and resident use of services.

The results from the online survey will be weighted and analyzed separate from the random and scientific sample. Those residents who received one of the original mail surveys are encouraged to complete those instead of the online survey.

The survey will only be available for a short time and St. Lucie County needs your input. To take the survey, please visit

About The National Community Survey:

The National Community Survey™ (The NCS™) was among the first scientific surveys developed to gather resident opinion on a range of community issues and has been used in more than 350 jurisdictions across 46 states. The NCS™ is a high-quality, cost-effective scientific survey of resident opinion and an important benchmarking tool that allows for comparison among communities. Communities using The NCS™ have reported that the tool helped improve performance, strengthen communications with community stakeholders and identify clear priorities for use in goal and budget setting.
