Look Out! You don’t want to miss this.  Black Box Productions in cooperation with the Port St. Lucie Civic Center is bringing a family friendly concert series to The Treasure Coast. Formerly known as Singer Productions, the group booked casinos and cultural centers such as Aventura Cultural Center, Coral Spring Center of the Arts, as well as many private show throughout South Florida. In 2015, Black Box Productions opened their doors as Boca Black Box, located on Glades Road, and has since produced over 450 shows to date. Show goers have seen the likes of national touring comedians such as: Andrew Dice Clay and Bobby Collins, along with magic shows including the latest magicians to appear on America’s Got Talent. Their line up doesn’t stop there though. Boca Black Box has featured music from local tribute bands to Grammy award singers and hopes to recreate the experience for people here on The Treasure Coast, offering an exciting new level of entertainment.

A kickoff show is set for Friday, October 20th at 8:00pm. Featured is The National Touring Group, The Long Run. This is a multimedia tribute to the music of the Eagles. Band members have appeared on over 30 albums and have performed with such acts as The Shirelles, The Coasters, Trisha Yearwood, Eric Clapton, The Bee Gees and Peter Frampton. You won't hear a better Eagles tribute band 'til "Hell Freezes Over." THE LONG RUN provides a spectacular performance and brings back great memories.

On December 8th, make plans to attend a wonderful evening with the music of Billy Joel, TURNSTILES. The ultimate tribute. At its core, this 1976 album is a celebration of New York City. You will be transformed to feel as if you are at Madison Square Garden listening to Billy himself. The last stop for this concert series is on February 16th, as you experience an amazing evening with the music of Tina Turner by “Simply Tina”. The long legs, the gowns, the voice the background singers and dancers do not stop for a second. You will be sure to be dancing in the isles.

In addition to these great family friendly productions, Black Box Productions is bringing two of their top touring comedian favorites.  First up on January 19th, is Comedian and internet sensation Vic Dibitetto. He was named as Americas funniest person on ABC Television and has been touring the nation to standing room only crowds.  His Italian American Brooklyn act is said to be a cross of Jackie Gleason and Rodney Dangerfield. His show is a pull no punch rapid fire of everything from family life to his beloved sports teams.

March 9th, the amazing talent of Comedian Sarge, a South Florida favorite will wrap up Black Box’s first round of comedians. A real genius with his classical piano virtuoso playing starting at the age of 3 after being an adopted black by a Miami Beach white Jewish couple.  His spot-on impressions and his look at South Florida Life will have you rolling in your seat.  What comedian could possibly do a full 20 minutes of laughter just reliving a trip to Publix supermarket.

All Shows are priced under $30 as to keep with Port St Lucie’s request to keep the pricing neighbor friendly. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.cityofpsl.com/civic.
