VSOA Hosts “Pandemic Heroes” at Art Exhibit

VSOA Hosts “Pandemic Heroes” at Art Exhibit

By Jackie Holfelder

When Visionary School of Arts (VSOA) partnered with Visionary Church to present first responders in Martin County with holiday gift baskets in December, there was one gift that couldn’t be used until April.

Police, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics and members of the Sheriff’s Department each received an invitation inviting them to a special VSOA Art Exhibit to thank them entitled “Heroes”, which will take place at Infiniti Stuart from April 9-11.

The talented young artists who are students of VSOA will be in attendance throughout the show to talk about their paintings of first responders, which have been created from local photography using creative mediums and designs.

VSOA students have won more than 500 awards since 2010 and represent some of the finest talent aged five-eighteen in the area.

Exhibit attendees will reserve a specific time slot, allowing them to view the paintings leisurely and safely while practicing social distancing.

An opening reception will take place, following whatever CDC guidelines are appropriate for the time and circumstances. More details will be made available closer to the event.

Infiniti Stuart, located at 3970 Federal Highway in Stuart, is the Platinum Sponsor and host of “Heroes.”
