Luncheon Benefits Catch the Wave of Hope
Catch the Wave of Hope (CWH), the non-profit that was founded in 2015 to fight child sex trafficking, was the beneficiary of the 4th Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon held at the Yacht & Country Club of Stuart.
Event co-chairs Terry Clemons and Kathy DeMont hosted an engaging event that had 170 attendees oohing and aah-ing at fabulous boutique shopping, a stellar fashion show and a moving presentation by Sarah Henry, Community Development Director of Catch the Wave of Hope.
CWH was founded by Stuart’s own Lynne Barletta to prevent the sex trafficking of children through awareness, education, restoration and legislation.
Henry discussed warning signs that everyone should watch for, the progress that is being made in the fight and the reality that trafficking exists right here in Stuart.
Catch the Wave of Hope can provide a trained team to come to your business, organization, church or synagogue for an awareness event.
