The Remember for Change 2nd Annual "Drive the Speed Limit on Indian River Drive"

Drive the Speed Limit on Indi Date: Tuesday February 7, 2023
Time: 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Location: Indian River Drive
Address: 1400 E Midway Rd, Fort Pierce, FL
Category: Community
In memorial of all those who have been victims of drunk and impaired drivers in the Treasure Coast, the non-profit, Remember for Change, Inc. is honored to host:

The Remember for Change 2nd Annual "Drive the Speed Limit on Indian River Drive" Event

On February 7th, Super Bowl Sunday, 2020, a young mother, Claudia Trewyn Bradley, was on her way to pick up a pizza. She never made it. Instead, she lost her life to a drunk driver who was speeding twice the speed limit, and veered into her lane, hitting her head-on.

Now every February 7th, we meet at the entrance to Savannas Recreation Area at the 1400 E. Midway Rd., at 9 a.m.

Promptly at 9:15 we will caravan in our own cars, north on Indian River Drive.

In 2023, February 7th is on a Tuesday.

We will be holding a very large, red, black, and white rectangular Remember for Change sign, so you can find us.

We'll depart the Savannas Recreation Area onto Midway Rd., traveling east. At Indian River Drive we'll turn and travel north going the speed limit of 35 miles an hour, past the Claudia Trewyn Bradley Memorial Marker, circling the Round-About at Citrus, and heading back south on IRD. We'll then turn into Old Fort Park for a short time of group testimonials, prayer, and personal reflection, before continuing with our respective lives.

The event is expected to end no later than 10:00 a.m. For more information, please scan the QR code, email us at, or text us at: 772-333-1533.
