About Us
Tucked away on the west side of South Beach Bridge, at the corner of Seaway Drive and Indian River Drive, 12A Buoy has been Fort Pierce's little seafood secret for years. Old Florida-style in looks, this unassuming family restaurant is owned by Owen Hartley and Katie (James) Hartley, and offers some of the finest, freshest fish from the Treasure Coast waters and beyond.
Visit 12A for a moderately priced lunch or dinner or just stop by for appetizers and drinks. Heck, just stop by and say hello. The dress is casual. The food is 5-star and the servers make you feel like family. On the weekends you are sure to be entertained by one one of Fort Pierce's local bands on the outside deck. If you prefer inside entertainment, belly up to the bar and get to know Gene. He will have you smiling in no time.
Fan favorite flavors include crusty mac and cheese served in personal sized cast iron skillets, with chunks of fresh lobster, locally smoked fish dip and homemade clam or conch chowder. Feelin' adventurous, try half clam and half conch chowder together. For dinner, you can never go wrong with fresh fish or a beautifully cooked steak. What ever you choose, you are sure to be served a delicious gourmet dinner in a quaint atmosphere.
