About Islamorada Beer Company
The craft brew industry is rapidly growing around the country and Florida is no exception. Like most craft breweries, Islamorada Beer Company began with a passion for home brewing and good friends. Cofounders, Jose Herrera and Tyrone Bradly, along with Chris Trentine and Nik Schroth, finally took a leap of faith, after a fishing trip to Bimini and opened Islamorada Beer Company (IBC) in May 2014. After only two years, IBC grew to over 100 accounts and beer was flowing as far north as Jupiter and along the Gulf Coast.
All of the beers from Islamorada Beer Company are light bodied and seasonal, which means they go down easy and there is always room for more. A fan favorite of IBC is an American wheat ale inspired by Islamorada’s famous sandbar – Sandbar Sunday. Weekends at the sandbar are spent with boats anchored down and tied together, good friends, music and the escape of everyday life. Don’t forget the lime!
