Kids helping kids with New Socks & Underwear Drive
Kids are helping kids – and you can too! Drop off your donations of new, unopened packages of children’s socks and underwear at one of the 18 Boys & Girls Club locations in St. Lucie County. (go to www.bgcofslc.org for location addresses) Checks and credit card donations are also accepted at the Clubs and on the website at www.bgcofslc.org. “After Hurricane Irma, Club members saw how the community came together to help others and they wanted to help too,” explained Will Armstead, CEO. “Boys & Girls Clubs work to foster young people’s good character and their belief that they can bring about positive change in their communities. The new socks and underwear drive is a great example of our kids taking action to help others,” added Armstead.
