All ticket sales from Out Laugh Hunger to Bahamas relief efforts
In the spirit of community support for those most affected by Hurricane Dorian, Treasure Coast Food Bank will be donating 100 percent of ticket sales from its upcoming Out Laugh Hunger comedy show to relief efforts in the Bahamas.
“Our hearts go out to the people in the Bahamas, who suffered catastrophic effects from Hurricane Dorian. We know they will need support for many months ahead,” said Judith Cruz, President and CEO of Treasure Coast Food Bank. “As a hunger-relief organization, we want to do our part to help those impacted by this devastating storm. We urge the community to join us.”
The show takes place at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13 at Bottoms Up Public House in Downtown Fort Pierce, one of many events planned during Hunger Action Month.
It features Devin Siebold, a crowd favorite at last year’s Out Laugh Hunger. Siebold is well-known in the Florida comedy scene. His original and thought-provoking material is drawn from his life in Florida – dating experiences, love of theme parks and spending 10 years as a middle and high school teacher in the state!
He was a semi-finalist for Florida’s Funniest Comedian. He also won I Heart Media Monsters in the Morning Comedian of the year, the Boston World Series of Comedy, and Side Splitters Comedian of the Year. Siebold has opened for numerous headliners, including Peter Cetera, Gilbert Gottfried, Pauly Shore, and Ralphie May.
Opening the evening will be Miguel Colon Jr., the 2016 Monsters in the Morning Comedian of the Year and a semifinalist in the 2016 and 2017 Florida’s Funniest competition, along with Jeff Jones, known for saying out loud what everyone else in the room is thinking.
Admission is $25 and includes one complimentary drink. Seating is limited. Visit stophunger.org/event/outlaugh-hunger/ to purchase tickets.
