An Aviation Extravaganza
The Audi Stuart Airshow took place from November 2 - 4. The rain couldn't put a damper on our fun! The weekend was full of fireworks, jets, aerobatics displays, aircraft tours, aircraft rides, food, drinks, and fun with friends and family. Children and adults alike were inspired by the aerobatics in the sky, as well as by the aircraft on the ground.
We welcomed the United States Marine Corp Harrier, the F-16 Viper Demo Team, Kyle Franklin and his Demon-1 biplane, Vampire Airshows' de Havilland single engine jet, the 4 man group the Phillips 66 Aerostars, Bob Carlton and his SubSonex jet, The Class of 45's Jim "Torc" Tobul and Scott "Scooter" Yolk, Younkin Airshows, Rob Holland Ultimate Air Shows, local favorite Chef Pitts, Round Canopy Parachuting Team-USA (RCPT-USA), and U.S. Army Special Operations Command Parachute Demonstration Team The Black Daggers.
There were dozens of static displays, many of which are active military aircraft, manned by military personal who conducted the tours of the machines they know so well. It was our pleasure to highlight aircraft from World War II and Korea, and welcome the Unites States Air Force, Navy, Army, and Special Operations Forces to Stuart. With active military personnel as well as veterans, we were happy to be able to thank the men and women of our armed forces this past weekend, as well as honor those who have been lost with a missing man formation aerial salute at the end of each show.
