(Silently) Dance to Your Own Beat with GYAC
The Gifford Youth Achievement Center (GYAC) announces its first-ever Ship to Shore Cruise Party, setting sail on Saturday, January 25. The one-of-a-kind fundraiser, featuring a silent disco, will take place, on shore, at Oak Harbor Club from 5:30-9:30 p.m.
Cruise elegant is the name of the game for the evening’s festivities. On the itinerary: cocktail hour, live entertainment, dinner, dancing and raffle drawings.
Upon arrival, guests will receive a pair of wireless headphones. When the dance party begins, guests may tune into one of three channels, hand-selected for your enjoyment. Depending on the channel you choose, your headphones will glow red, blue or green. Gather with a group of greens or mix it up. It’s your choice!
GYAC’s silent dance party, with Shari and Joe of Swingstation at the helm, offers guests the option to select their preference of music or socialize without having to shout.
Thanks to the generosity of several sponsors, GYAC is featuring five raffle packages, including a 4/5-night cruise for two from Royal Caribbean. Raffle tickets are $50 each or three for $150, and you need not be present to win. Ship to Shore Cruise Party tickets are $150 per person. All proceeds will benefit GYAC’s student educational programs.
