TC Hospice Chairman's Dinner
Situated along the St. Lucie River banks in Downtown Stuart, the Flagler Center provided the picture-perfect backdrop for Treasure Coast Hospice’s Annual Chairman’s Dinner. Recently held on a chilly January evening, the warmth of the rustic venue and congeniality of host Board Chairman Scott Hoffman and his wife Linda combined with these stunning views to ensure a festive celebration.
Treasure Coast Hospice board members, Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation trustees, and CEO Jackie Kendrick along with several executive staff members attended the dinner, which highlighted the organization’s deep roots to the community.
In celebration of Treasure Coast Hospice’s 40th Anniversary this year, Hoffman offered a gracious thank you to his fellow dedicated board members, all of whom are continuing to build upon the legacy of stewardship and community commitment of the organization’s founders
“I love living in a smaller, supportive community where all it takes is one connected individual to make a difference in so many people’s lives,” Hoffman said. “Tonight, we have a room full of such people.”
Glenn Graves, Chair of the Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation, added, “We are better together. Each one of you brings something special to the table!”
Dedicated to bringing the highest quality of care and guiding the growth of Treasure Coast Hospice to become a leading hospice provider that now serves more than 4,000 patients annually, two retiring Board Members received special recognition, Hal Roberts and Melissa DePriest. Like their peers, they served selflessly and were committed to ensuring access to the organization’s exceptional, quality hospice and grief support programs, including a specialized pediatric program, music and massage therapy, virtual reality experiences, a Veterans Program and so much more.
As Bobby Gangloff of Bobby & the Blisters played his piano and serenaded the crowd and dinner got underway, attendees reflected upon the hometown feel of the organization that for four decades has remained at the nucleus of the community.
