FHSAA Softball State Championships

Vero Beach and Indian River County will be the host of the FHSAA Softball State Championships for the 7th consecutive year!

The Florida High School Softball State Championships will bring in 36 teams from around the state. Games will be played at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex. For more information, visit the FHSAA website at, www.fhsaa.org/sports/softball.

Tuesday, May 21 1A - 4A Semi-Finals 10:30 am

Volunteers Needed!

Do you want to be part of this exciting event? The TCSC is looking for volunteers for the 2019 FHSAA State Softball Finals at Historic Dodgertown on May 21-24. Volunteers are needed in four hour blocks.

Looking for volunteers in the following areas:
-Parking
-Hospitality check-in (lunch and dinner)
-Hospitality golf cart driver (lunch and dinner)

Kyokushin Kan Karate USA Seminar

Kyokushin Karate was founded by Mas Oyama. Oyama traveled from his native Korea, to China and finally to his adopted country of Japan, Studying Martial Arts.

What is Kyokushin karate? To some, it is a way to develop and maintain physical strength and learn effective self-defense techniques. To others, it is much more than that. Kyokushin karate is a way of life that transcends the physical aspects of training. The philosophy of Budo is evident in the name that Mas Oyama chose for his karate style, Kyokushin which means "Ultimate Truth".

this unique event will bring in around 200 participants from around the country. Instructors will also be flown in from around the world such as Japan and Jamaica.

Fairwinds Offers Veterans Free Golf on Memorial Day Weekend in Support of Folds of Honor

For the fourth year in a row, the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners and Fairwinds Golf Course are inviting all Veterans to support the Folds of Honor Foundation and receive a free round of golf this Memorial Day weekend.
Major Dan Rooney, a PGA Professional and former F-16 pilot for the Oklahoma Air National Guard who founded Folds of Honor, launched patriot Golf Day in 2007. The Patriot Golf Day campaign is jointly supported by the PGA of America and the United States Golf Association. Over the last 11 years, golfers nationwide have been instrumental in raising donations through Patriot Golf Day events, resulting in nearly 20,000 scholarships to Folds of Honor recipients in all 50 states and 41 PGA sections.
Active and/or retired military personnel can enjoy a free round of golf on Memorial Day at Fairwinds – an 18-hole public course designed by Jim Fazio. For additional details or to make a reservation visit www.fairwindsgolf.com or call 772-462-4653.
Non-golfers can also participate by donating to the mission at www.FoldsofHonor.org.
