Time: All Day Event
Location: The Alma Community Life Center in Vero Beach
Address: 7950 U.S. 1 Vero Beach, Florida, 32967
Category: Other
Ever wonder how some people seem to roll with all the punches, process stressful situations, or move forward in life more easily than others?

Join Brian Lemmerman and Cory Hardaker for an immersive 2-day meditation experience. They’ll provide you with expert training and proven tools sourced from ancient practices of Chinese, Buddhist, and other spiritual cultures you can use to let go of the past, live in the present, and direct your future.

Using mindfulness and meditation, we are going to learn about the self, examine how we have defined ourselves, and distinguish the stories we tell about ourselves that are half-truths. We will learn how to accept what has been, have compassion for ourselves, and let go of beliefs that no longer serve us, so we can create new possibilities for ourselves, plan our ideal futures, and move forward with less resistance.

The meditations you will learn and the new mindsets you will create will be yours to practice daily to make ongoing progress in your balance, inner peace, and prosperity.

---

*Day 1 - Focus*

Living in the present moment is easier said than done. We’re going to train ourselves in fundamental focus meditation techniques that provide mental clarity and lasting peace for beginning to advanced participants. With practice, we become better at catching and facing the automatic thought, feeling, and action patterns we’ve allowed to run our lives without permission.

- Daily Agenda - Saturday, August 25th -
11:00am - 6:00pm

- Group Introductions and Intention Setting
- Introduction to Meditation
- Discourse on Deconstructing the Stories We Tell Ourselves and Forgiveness
- Group Mindful Listening and Learning About Half-Truths
- Thought Observation Techniques
- Mindful Breath Meditation
- Slow Walking Meditation
- Counting Meditation
- Body Scan Meditation
- Observation of Emotional Sensations
- Group Reflection

*Day 2 - Flow*
We’re going to let go of the fear of judgement and learn how to quickly access the creative aspect of the self using a series of flow meditation techniques. Once in the flow state, what once appeared impossible becomes effortless, and we can recognize the power we possess to create in our lives as opposed to being the victim of circumstance. From this state of heightened awareness, we’re going to examine the limiting beliefs we hold, process our internal suffering, and install new ideas about what’s possible for ourselves. You’ll walk away with a simple action plan you can use to fulfill your vision after the retreat.

- Daily Agenda - Sunday, August 26th -
6:00am - 5:00pm
