– Busch Wildlife Sanctuary (BWS) to hold Feathers, Fangs, Fur & Fun, a Halloween event for the whole family! This special event takes place on Sunday, October 27 from 11AM¬-2PM. Kids and families are invited to walk the Sanctuary in costume, while collecting candy and meeting animal ambassadors.

Join the spooky Sanctuary staff and animals and venture through the Cypress Swamp board walks and Pineland Natural trail. There will be Wildlife Encounters and Story Time in the Cypress Amphitheater for guests along with games and crafts in the Picnic Area. Admission for this event is a $5 donation per person and will be collected upon entry.

Fall snacks will be provided by Trader Joes in Palm Beach Gardens! Busch Wildlife also supports the Teal Pumpkin Project, a movement to raise awareness of food allergies and to create a safer, more inclusive Halloween for all trick-or-treaters.

The Sanctuary provides free comprehensive medical and rehabilitative care to almost 5,000 injured wild animals each year. BWS relies on donations to keep providing these services for Florida’s native wildlife! Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife hospital and sanctuary for native Florida wildlife. The Sanctuary offers visitors a rare opportunity to learn about Florida's wildlife and natural environments. The concept of this facility was not to simply build a "zoo" exhibiting caged animals, but to create a unique refuge that combines a community nature center with a wildlife hospital. Nature trails lead visitors through pine flat-woods, oak hammocks, and cypress wetlands. Along the trails are wildlife habitats exhibiting a variety of native animals from bald eagles to Florida panthers. This unique facility offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about nature while providing a sanctuary for wildlife and people.

Visit BuschWildlife.org to donate and learn more about the programs and services or how you can get involved!
