ibraries offer more than just books and the Lakewood Park Branch Library’s Technology Training Sessions show users how to take full advantage of free online services. Held on Fridays at 9 a.m., these hands-on training sessions teach users how to master electronic devices and free digital services.

June 1 – WhatsApp: Join over a billion users of this messaging, calling and file sharing smart phone app.

June 8 – Resume Builder: Learn to highlight your accomplishments with this class on resume building using Career Transitions through the Florida Electronic Library. It’s a step-by-step program that allows you to fill in your own information.

June 15 – Google Basics: This class will include Google Translate, Google Flights, Google Maps and how to get better Google search results.

June 22 - OverDrive: Learn to use this free app from your Library for downloading audio and eBooks. A smart phone or tablet is recommended for this class.

June 29: Music Services: There are a lot of options out there for listening to music. Join us as we discuss your options and find out which one works best for you.
