Frosted Mason Jars
Members of the Crafting Sistas meet monthly for some crafting, wining (not whining), and chatting. And,It's always a little therapy for the soul.
During a recent interview published in People magazine, Jane Fonda was quoted as saying she believes that you have to have love in your life in order to stay young. She went on to say that her women friends are what puts the starch in her spine and they make her happy.
That's exactly why we (the Crafting Sistas) think our group is a great recipe for keeping our youth. (ha ha Thank goodness we can laugh at our selves.) We all love our little group so much, and for me - nothing interferes with craft night.
This craft is quite easy and took only minutes to complete, leaving plenty of time for talking, laughing and lifting one another. It requires very little investment and, since it's still spring-time, will still go well with your outdoor dining decor.
A clean and dry mason jar, (We had jelly jars, spaghetti sauce jars, asparagus jars, etc. Any jar will do as long as it's clean and dry.)Elmer's glue or Mod Podge, small paper cup, paint brush, acrylic paint of your choice, water and some kind of drop cloth.
