His Exhibition will begin on May 1st and run until June 30th and can be seen Monday through Friday from 10 am until 4 pm and on Sundays from 10 am until Noon.

Historic Dodgertown welcomes teams from across the U.S. for this 3-day Holiday tournament that will prepare your team for a summer of great baseball. With quality competition and fields conditions, our historic fields are ready for your travel team to take the field right where Jackie Robinson and so many Dodger greats once stood.

From the moment you arrive, you will feel the history and excitement of the Historic Dodgertown campus where Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, Gil Hodges, Sandy Koufax and so many other legends performed. Teams can stay in our on-site villas while enjoying meals and recreation including the competition-size pool and basketball courts right on-site as well.

As you stroll through streets named for Dodgers Hall of Famers you’ll pass Campy’s Bullpen and Maury’s Pit on your way to Historic 6,500 seat Holman stadium. Some tournament venues offer replica fields, Historic Dodgertown - Vero Beach, Florida offers you the chance to play on the very same fields where legends played.

Businesses, offices and clubhouses please join White Glove Moving & Storage in the 5th Annual Summer Food Drive. All food raised will be delivered to the Treasure Coast Food Bank June 16th where it will be distributed to over 200 food pantries and soup kitchens throughout the four county area.

Participation is easy: White Glove Moving will deliver the box to your expressed location the week of May 29th and pick up all boxes the week of June 12th. Simply email AnnaV@WhiteGloveUSA.net to commit to filling at least one box (more available upon request) and help raise food for the 200,000 individuals throughout our area who are food insecure especially during the summer months when children are not in school. Our goal is to raise over 1,000 lbs., every little bit helps and participation is appreciated.

The mission of the Veterans Council of Indian River County is to support all Indian River County veterans through a collective effort of veterans organizations, civic associations and the local community, thereby raising awareness of veterans’ needs and of their contributions to society.

Keynote Speaker: Vice Admiral Alan S. Thompson, U.S. Navy, Retired

Prior to his retirement from Naval service in January 2012, Vice Admiral Alan S. Thompson served as Director and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency, where he was responsible for providing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and other federal agencies in the U.S. with a variety of logistics, acquisition and technical services. In this role Thompson oversaw a staff of 27,000 civilian and military personnel, managed annual sales of $46 billion. As DLA Director, he led Department of Defense logistics support for the drawdown of U.S. forces from Iraq, and the 2010 surge of forces and operations in Afghanistan.

The City of Vero Beach will hold a Memorial Day Ceremony at Veteran's Memorial Island Sanctuary on Monday, May 29. The program will begin at 9:00 am, preceded by patriotic music provided by the Vero Beach High School Band. Alan S. Thompson, Vice Admiral US Navy, Retired, will present the keynote address. A new feature for this event, The Boots on the Ground Memorial, becomes an integral part of the 2017 Memorial Day Ceremony. Each boot you will see on display is representative of lives lost by those serving in our military since 9-11-2001. The Ceremonial Wreath be placed by Staff Sergeant Jason Wang, US Army and Corporal Heath Harris, USMC.
