Dolphin Bar and Shrimp House
For the sixth year in a row, the Zweben Law Group is partnering with United Way of Martin County on the Zweben Law Group Bike Drive to make the holidays extra special for local families who are struggling to make ends meet. The goal of the month-long initiative is to raise enough money to cover the cost of 300 bikes to be given to children in need through the United Way Holiday Project.
To launch the endeavor, Zweben Law Group is hosting a Bike Drive Kickoff Party.
This years co-sponsors include Beyond Bikes, which provides the bikes and helmets at cost; Cleveland Clinic Martin Health; The Dolphin Bar and Shrimp House, which is donating food and beverages for the party; Treasure Coast Running and Whole Body Performance and Fitness.
Each bike comes with a helmet and the combined cost is around $60, so the annual goal is $18,000. The kickoff party raises a significant portion of those funds through ticket sales and direct donations in amounts both large and small, but donations can be made at any time from now until Dec. 13.
The United Way Holiday Project engages the entire community to provide toys for Martin County children in need. United Way of Martin County is the official coordinating organization for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots in Martin County.
