About Us
Chuck’s Seafood has a long history in Fort Pierce. Originally opening in 1961, Chuck’s has been considered a local landmark for years. Best known for its fresh fish and breathtaking view, by locals and visitors alike. Chuck’s is just as much about the experience as it is about the food. No one is a stranger at Chuck’s. It is a local hang out by many; always “that” special occasion place and destination dining spot for visitors from all over the world. It would be a toss up to bet whether people come for the serene view and sunset or the famous fried shrimp.
Chuck’s is owned by Peter Angelos, who purchased it from the original owners, Chuck and Elodie Tabor, in 1986. With the brief exception of seven months, when Peter thought he was ready to move on, he has been the sole proprietor. Peter, who grew up in the restaurant business just has this place in his blood.
Weathered by the years and storms, Chuck’s has undergone many renovations over the past several years. An upstairs dining room, an elevator for the disabled and an outside deck have all been added to accommodate the nightly crowds that flock to Chuck’s Seafood. However, if you are a true local, you will be found in the original dining room and bar area downstairs. Peppered with pictures of visiting celebrities and Peter’s tribute to his hobby as a race car driver.
Every occasion is an occasion to visit Chuck’s Seafood.
