About The St. Lucie Cultural Alliance
St. Lucie Cultural Alliance (SLCA), founded in 2018, is the designated local arts agency in St. Lucie County. SLCA is building a vibrant arts and cultural sector by advancing St. Lucie County as a cultural destination, working toward a sustainable sector countywide, and delivering arts programs that enhance the educational experience. SLCA is a nonprofit, member-driven organization, promoting local artists, cultural organizations and events, art in public places, and more. We believe that in the best communities, arts and culture are abundant, accessible, and diverse – serving as a catalyst to generate economic impact, stimulate business development, spur urban renewal, attract tourists and area residents to community activities, and improve the overall quality of life.
What is the “arts and cultural sector”?
As the heart of the arts countywide, the St. Lucie Cultural Alliance promotes an inclusive and diverse definition of arts and culture, including visual arts, performing arts, dance and music, literary, festivals, environmental, commercial, and historical.
Our digital hub provides artists and arts and cultural organizations a platform for growth, learning, and collaboration. Specific features include the community arts & cultural events calendar, virtual gallery and arts marketplace, member directories, grants and job opportunities, workshops, calls for art, and more. We also provide resources for educators, including a directory of teaching artists.
Your support through membership or donation ensures St. Lucie Cultural Alliance can carry out its mission.
