VPK Holiday Card Contest

Without a doubt, our VPK kids are creative geniuses and our recent greeting card art contest proves it! Congratulations to our very first Holiday Greeting Card Art Contest, Abigail, age 4, (pictured here) from Kids Harbor Learning Center Pre-K program. Any child enrolled in any St. Lucie County Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program was eligible to enter the contest, with their own original art.Abigail's work will be framed at our office and used for both our digital and paper holiday card.

At the Early Learning Coalition, our mission is to provide quality childcare and educational programs for eligible children. We accomplish this by Opening Doors for Young Children through our programs and services, championing the importance of early childhood education. This includes Childcare Resources and Referrals for all families, free Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (up to 540 hours) for all 4-year-olds, and School Readiness Subsidized Childcare for children birth to age 13.

By giving young children the opportunity to experience a quality early learning environment, we set the stage for them to become ready for, and ultimately, successful in school.

If you live in Florida and have a child who turns 4 years of age by September 1st, your child is eligible for Floridas FREE Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK), if they are not participating in the Gardiner Scholarship Program.  VPK classrooms offer high-quality programs that include high literacy standards, developmentally appropriate curricula, manageable class sizes, and qualified teachers.  For more information call (772) 595-6363
