About Southern Eagle Distributing
In 1984, Peter W. Busch, a descendant of the "King of Beer" brewer Adolphus Busch moved to Vero Beach to take ownership of Southern Eagle Distributing. In just over 30 years, Southern Eagle Distributing has grown from a small warehouse and office with 28 employees to a 13,000 square foot warehouse employing over 150 people; some of which have been a part of the Southern Eagle Family since the beginning.
As the Treasure Coast's leading Beverage distributorship, the key to their success has been hard work, dedication and a commitment to the community in which they do business in.
True to family form, Peter's son Philp has taken the reigns at Southern Eagle and works very hard to maintain the values that are at the core of their business. Most recently, under the leadership of Philp, Southern Eagle Distributing won the Anheuser-Busch Ambassador of Excellence Award. This high honor along with the prized "Big Jake" award, named for the most perfect of the Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales who perform at the highest level of sales, execution, customer service, community involvement, environmental consciousness along with the endorsement and engagement of responsible drinking programs for a period of three years.
