The history of St. Lucie Battery and Tire goes back to the early 1970’s, when Joey Miller, the company’s founder was supplementing sales of chickens and eggs at Miller family stand with a convenience store. As an ambitious businessman and true entrepreneur, Joey turned his focus on selling rebuilt batteries and Farm Bureau tires. Almost 5 decades later, the Miller family is still at the helm. Hard work, dedication and the company motto, “Home of Honest, Reliable Service” have grown the business into 13 locations serving four counties. St. Lucie Battery and Tire is also the second largest Cooper Tire dealer in the southeastern United States.
